We are a community of Carmelite Nuns living a contemplative life
for Love of the Lord and the benefit of souls.
Welcome! This out-of-the-way hill in the Port Tobacco Valley is our home. The Lord told the Prophet Elijah to hide in the wadi and drink from the stream. Like Elijah, we have our own little stream that playfully wraps around this hill. Like him, we are hidden here because we thirst for God and He has invited us to drink of His life-giving mercy and His refreshing joy.
